China lysine supply crunch continues to lift prices
Prices moved higher during the week ended September 23.
Although soymeal market softened of late, prices remained high lending support to the demand for lysine. Moreover, buying interest was buoyant as buyers restocked depleting inventories before October's long holiday.
Meanwhile, lysine supplies remained limited, as several producers had limited stocks to offer.
Prices rise will likely slow in the coming week.
